REGION OF WATERLOO SWIM CLUB

How to Join the Region of Waterloo Swim Club

Assessment with Our Coaches

No matter what level your swimmer is at, all new athletes must complete an assessment with one of our coaches. Assessments are typically scheduled in early September, but we also offer them throughout the season depending on demand. If your swimmer has experience with another club, the coach may place them directly into the appropriate group.

Registering for Your Assigned Group

After the assessment, the coach will recommend the most suitable group for your swimmer. You will then complete registration for that specific group based on the coach’s recommendation.

Getting the Right Equipment

Each group requires swimmers to have specific training equipment. Please visit our equipment list webpage for details on what your swimmer will need:

Checking Your Group’s Start Date

The start date of each training group is posted on the group webpage. For example, RSA Competitive begins the week of September 8th. Be sure to review your group’s page so your swimmer is ready to start on time.

Payment Information

In mid-September, you will receive an email from us with instructions on payment options and the due date for your first installment. You must reply to this email to confirm your choice of payment method.
